El proceso creativo cuando cojo la cámara es uno de los factores más importantes para mí. Por lo general lo vivo como algo muy personal y difícil de entender. A veces viene sólo y otras, por más que lo busco, no lo encuentro. Es una novia caprichosa.
En esta ocasión fue un cruce de caminos, por una parte tenía una cita para hacer una sesión fotográfica con Patricia y Asier, la pareja del vídeo. Por otro lado la mañana de la sesión me levanté y puse a Alexi Murdoch en el reproductor, el cruce de estos motivos fue un detonante que me trasladó mentalmente a una pequeña historia, a una narración que tenía que hacer como fuera. Los llamé para contarles la idea y darle unas indicaciones, utilicé el iPhone como cámara de trabajo y este es el resultado de una casualidad o una causalidad. Espero que lo disfruten tanto como lo disfrutamos nosotros haciéndolo.
The creative process when I take the camera is one of the most important factors for me. I usually live it as something very personal and hard to understand. Sometimes it arrives on its own, and some others, doesn’t matter how much I look for, I can´t find it. It´s a capricious girlfriend.
On this occasion it was a crossroads. On one hand I had an appointment to do a photoshoot with Patricia and Asier, the couple in the video, and in the other hand the morning of the session I woke up and started with Alexi Murdoch in the player, and the crossing of these reasons was a trigger that moved me mentally to a small story, a narrative that had to be done. I called them to tell the idea and give some indications, picked the iPhone as my camera work and this is the result of a causality or a causation. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did while doing it.
